Greetings Eric, Rachel, and others in Barrow (that I have not met). Eric and Rachel . . . you're looking good in Alaska! Glad to see that you both/all made it to Barrow! Looks and sounds like a very interesting experience so far. Am enjoying your blog entries, Rachel!! Try to keep "Koz" in line. Have not found Eric's pics yet, but I'll keep looking.
More later. Have a good day!!

Poems

Hey!
It's '08!! How did that happen? Somehow, I lost track of myself.
I heard that April is "Poetry Month". Is that correct . . . . . . . anyone??
Let's have a contest! Here are the rules:

RULES:
1.) Send me a poem that you just made up;
2.) Your poem should rhyme, but it doesn't have to;
3.) The dumbest poem wins a prize ( A DQ of your choice in St. James, Willmar, or Spicer);
4.) The shortest poem wins a prize too (A free espresso drink at The Stray Cat Coffee House)
5.) Your poem has to be decent (this is a family blog you know);
6.) This contest ends in April, 2010;
7.) Any of the above rules can be bent . . . . a little.

Any questions? O.K. then . . . I'll be waiting!

Clams

Relly has been finding clams with "pearls" stuck on the inside of their shells. She told me that the sexes are seperate in clams. Is that true?
More later . . . there are three bags of garbage in the trunk of my car with 8,000 fruit flies pounding on the trunk lid saying; "We want in . . . NOW!". I need to deal with that . . . NOW! I'll have more to say on "Business and Biology" later. No, not next year!

Oh my garsh...

Hey Gang!
Oh my garsh . . . it's June 1st!! So far, I'm averaging one entry per month. Hmmmm!
Hey ... there's a fly in here! Speaking of flies, when What's his name's Brain, Polka Dot, Posy, and Sophie left G. Lake last week-end, Ren, Rave, Relly and I went to Kandi. Co. County Park #5 to get ice cream cones. While we were there, we saw Polka Dot's best friends Lilly & Larry Lake Fly sitting on the window screen. Well, we asked them if they were here for the annual family reunion and they said "Ya sure!". (Swedish Lutheran Lake Flies, you know!) By the time we got back to the cabin, four were on our front windows, so we assumed the party was about to begin. When 10:00 PM came, there were 479 on the windows, screen, and on the front of the cabin . . . which meant the wind was coming in our direction . . . lucky us! The good news? I guess that means the lake is healthy. They eat the schmuck off the bottom of the lake for seven years before they hatch on the surface. Then it's two days of molting, maturing, mating, & laying eggs on the water . . . then they die. Hopefully, the second batch won't show up during the week of July 4th. Are there lake flies in Blueberry Land? How about in Iraq? Speaking of Vinny, he needs a haircut . . . big time! Herb is still kicken' but not very high.
Hey . . . suddenly, it's June 2nd. Guess I'll sign off.
Later,

What th.....!(?)

It's May??? What th...!(?) What happened to April?
I'm an Art teacher at DMMS today. Mona Lisa just winked at me!
Is that a good thing?
This is the third of four days here. So far, so good!
I Told one class about the guy who drank eight cokes and burped 7-up.
Mostly, they just looked at me . . . then they came around. Thank goodness,
I thought maybe I told a lame one or somthing!
OMG . . .gotta go . . . kids are coming down the hall!
Later!!

Hey Gang

'Sup? It's April 21st...what the heck have I done to my watch now? Paul, where are you when I need you? Do I have to wait 18 months to get this watch fixed...again? Anyway, as of today I'm a blogger. Don't get your hopes up...I'll work at it.

It's a Rochester day at the J, D, and A house. John's Brain is in a play tonight and Posy is at class at the U. Poppy and cousin Lyddle are with us and raising the roof. They kept us up until 11:30 last night and were up at 7:30am. Whew. G-ma slept until almost noon. That's a good thing. Now, uh...

Is that guitar in tune?

...More later. There's a dog in my lap.
